I believe that this is actualy supposed to be played on electric but it was the first I EVER learnt on bass. If you listen to the track it's the main beat. Very catchy. The is a version of the song on bass. It's very ordered so you can lay it down as a beat if you're "jamming" with friends. Enjoy.
G:--------------------| D:-----2-0-2-----0h2--| A:-----------0h2------| E:-0-0----------------|
G:--------------------| D:-----2-0-2-----0h2--| A:-----------0h2------| E:-0-0----------------|
G:-----2-0-2-----0h2--| D:-----------0h2------| A:-0-0----------------| E:--------------------|
G:-----2-0-2-----0h2--| D:-----------0h2------| A:-0-0----------------| E:--------------------|
This is where it gets slightly difficult. Easy on an electric, but not on a bass. Here, index finger takes the place of a cappo, covering the whole second fret on all strings. will TAB it like this 2|0 to mean hold down two then play open or 2|3 to hold down two but play three.
G:---------2|4-2|0-2|4-------2|0h4-| D:-2|0-2|0-------------2|0h4-------| A:---------------------------------| E:---------------------------------|
G:---------2|4-2|0-2|4-------2|0h4-| D:-2|0-2|0-------------2|0h4-------| A:---------------------------------| E:---------------------------------|
There is one other way to play that last "tricky bit":
G:-----4-2-4-----2h4--| D:-2-2-------2h4------| A:--------------------| E:--------------------|
G:-----4-2-4-----2h4--| D:-2-2-------2h4------| A:--------------------| E:--------------------|
That's it.
