Hey folks I've looked everywhere for this friggin' tab and no one's done it right some even tabbed it in Drop D
not sayin' that I'm the man or anything but I'm sure this is how it goes
Now for the main riff Mike uses something called a "DOD Gonkulater"
which they've stopped manufacturing a while ago, you might be able to get one at
a local pawn shop!
thise item is wot makes this unique effect
wot it does is it takes your ordinary effects and then it just goes and
jumbles em' up
basically they screw with your effects.
Also for the beginning of the verses Mike uses even more effects,
its like "Pardon Me" & "Are You In?" the bass is the 'back-bone' of the song
Mike uses so many effects
Tip: ok for all those that dont own a DOD Gonkulator...(i.e. me) which is probably most of you
A friend and I worked out that if you combine these following effects you should be able to get a similar sound:
Flange
Phaser
Oct
Light Distortion
Chorus
Wah
Thats a lot of effects but mix them all together & Bob's ur Uncle pretty much
Now I saw mike play it this way because the camera is like zoomed in on his guitar for the whole intro and most of the song
